Amazon Labor Day sales 2021: what to expect this year

While not known for the event originally, the Amazon Labor Day sales have come to form a big part of the larger yearly Labor Day sales event - especially if you're shopping for cheap gadgets. We're already seeing several tech offers available on Amazon, and we'll be keeping this page updated with any early discounts. 

In short, it's the last big sales event before Black Friday rolls around so it's definitely worth checking in for if you're on the hunt for cheap laptops, TVs, and pretty much anything else you can think of. While the likelihood of Amazon having a sale specifically branded for 'Labor Day' is fairly low, you can be certain it'll feature a huge array of discounts. When will the best Amazon Labor Day deals start in 2021?

The best Amazon Labor Day discounts will be launched on September 6, the official date for Labor Day 2021. Although we expect to see the biggest discounts on that day, we do usually see some deals on Amazon in the week leading up to Labor Day. As predicted, Amazon has already kickstarted Labor Day sales early and we're already seeing some impressive discounts live on the website. We're expecting more will continue to be released over the next week, so it’s worth bookmarking so you don’t miss out on all the best deals.
 

Does Amazon deliver on Labor Day?

Amazon’s bespoke delivery service was closed on Labor Day 2020, and we expect the same this year.

While Amazon Delivery will not be operating on Labor Day, you’ll still be able to shop as normal on Amazon. This also means you’ll still be able to access Prime delivery, however, just note that same-day delivery won’t take place. Although Amazon doesn't typically have an official ‘Labor Day sale’ event, you can still expect them to participate in the big sale across the weekend and on Monday itself.

What Amazon Labor Day deals do we expect to see this year?

We expect to see some excellent sales on a wide range of electronics, including Apple products, headphones, smartwatches, and smart home devices. Of course, this includes Amazon’s own tech products which are a shoo-in for juicy discounts over Labor Day. You can expect Echo smart home devices, Fire tablets, and even Kindle e-book readers to likely be on sale. 

If you’re looking to save money on tech products, then we highly recommend visiting Amazon on Labor Day. If it’s anything like last year you’ll likely find well-known brands including Apple, Beats, Fitbit and Samsung featured in the Amazon Labor Day discounts.

We also expect to see some household appliances featured during the sale period. Similar to any other sale event, we expect to see a decent mix of well-known household names like Instant Pot appliances with price cuts, as well as some lesser-known brands featured in the Labor Day deals.

You'll already find some discounts on kitchen appliances, including the popular Instant Pot Duo 7 in 1 for just $69.95 (was $89.99) and 25% off the Instant Pot Duo Crisp at Amazon.

With last year’s Amazon Labor Day, we saw up to 40% off of some of the best tech appliances including both new and older models. Some of our favorites included the Beats Solo headphones which had $70 off, a 65-inch Sony TV with $500 off, and the Razor Blade 15 gaming laptop also with $500 off. 

We’re expected to see similar tech products featured in the Amazon Labor Day deals in 2021, as well as some household appliances included for good measure.
